Australian Citrus News
 Citrus Australia produces a bimonthly newsletter, Australian
Citrus News (ACN), which is the peak national citrus publication
providing focused information on the citrus industry in Australia.
Editorial content includes the latest developments in citrus production
technology, information on the marketing and promotion of citrus
fruits and juice products in Australia and overseas, Citrus Australia and industry
news and issues and statistics relating to production, market
intelligence and trade.
ACN is distributed free of charge to all Citrus Australia members and to Australian
citrus growers who are affiliated with Citrus Australia member organisations.
ACN is also available by subscription to other interested people
and organisations.
Readership surveys indicate that ACN has the highest readership
by citrus growers of all horticultural publications (Yencken 1997)
and was rated the primary citrus information source in a subsequent
study of information providers in the industry.
Citrus Insight
Citrus Insight is a special project edition of Australian Citrus
News. It has been initiated by Citrus Australia to provide Australian growers
with a bi-annual comprehensive report on all the projects they
invest in through research and development (R&D), and marketing
levies.
Citrus Insight is available free of charge to all commercial Australian
citrus growers and Citrus Australia members.
These publications have been facilitated by Horticulture Australia
Limited (HAL) in partnership with Australian Citrus Growers (Citrus Australia)
and has been funded by the national citrus research and development
(R&D) levy. The Australian Government provides matched funding
for all HAL's R&D activities.
